The heart of Vicenza beats at Bar Minerva, a place that has made — and continues to make — the history of the city's historic centre, with its elegance: refined and distinguished. The story began in 1968 with Giorgio, Alvise and Gaetano Baldinato, and shines to this day, with an eye toward tomorrow.

Story
Everything at Minerva is warmth, atmosphere and quality. We are on one of the most beautiful streets in Vicenza, Contrà Santa Corona, embraced on one side by the elegant Palazzo Leone Montanari and on the other by the ancient Church of Santa Corona — a treasure chest full of artistic and historical masterpieces. Just a breath away from Corso Palladio and the great promenade of Vicenza.
Bar Minerva is a smile that always welcomes you: from breakfast to the lunch break, from an afternoon slice of cake to an aperitif that wins you over. And if you have a special moment to celebrate, let's talk: we'll think together of an idea just as special.

Then as Now
Bar Minerva remains true to its history as a bar of distinction. It is a place for meeting, reflection, but also enjoyment — a centre of gravity! Many have passed through Bar Minerva: lawyers and judges, politicians and athletes, actors and artists. And alongside them, the many people of Vicenza who for over fifty years have chosen this peaceful space as a regular stop in their daily lives.
And how could we forget the events at level –1 of Minerva since the 1970s: university festivities, well-known associations such as GEV and CAI, city politics meetings — even a mayor first named at Minerva and then elected in Sala Bernarda. And the –1 is still there, ready to host other events or private gatherings for our valued guests.

Aperitifs
Come to Minerva in the evening, when the bar counter lights up and the glow reflects off the wonderfully high ceiling of Palazzo Capra Conti, built around 1650. In that moment, looking around while savouring a Negroni or an Americano, or a fresh Prosecco, you'll understand that this is the place for your special aperitif.
Coffee & Breakfast
Coffee and cappuccinos like you've never tasted anywhere else. Ask for milk and you shall have it: from regular to soy, oat or coconut. Let yourself be pampered by our croissants, sfogliatelle, apple cakes or our delicious cheesecakes. Not a coffee person? Then how about a freshly squeezed orange juice or mixed fruit juice — perhaps while reading a newspaper at the start of your day.
Lunch
At lunchtime, a world opens up. A special salad, for those who want to eat light without losing the pleasure of wonderful flavour. Risotto, pasticcio, rice dishes, gnocchi. Something different? Here we go — meatballs, roast beef and steamed vegetables.
